Wanna be
Yes I am a follower. I have no capacity to be inventive on my own so I copy the ideas of other people and I'm about to do it again. But as a true follower, I can't do this without the approval from those whom I usually follow. You see I'm having one of those moments where I want to cut my hair- just like Katie Holmes. And I'd like to say that the idea for copying Katie is at least mine but its not. My friend Megan originally copied Katie's hair a week ago and so I'm going to do the same thing... I think. But I need all you original people to approve. SO vote on my pole- you have one week. I need this done before I'm heading out to Utah-- land of the well-put-together mommies.

lol - so you are copying someone who copied someone! I'm the same way, everything I do is someone elses idea. I think you should go for it! You could definitely pull it off. And seriously, utah = well put together mommys. They probably didn't just do errands in sweatpants and a ratty tee like i just did. Which is why I'd never fit in there!
I would say to do it because I love seeing big changes on people especially when I am too scared to do it myself. The only thing is, is that I know you love your ponies and you probably wouldn't be able to do them until it grows out, a lot! So I say do it, but don't do it. How much of a help am I?
There are a few things to think about with short hair. #1 The most important thing when doing a short cut is the person that cuts it! Some people can cut short hair styles and some can't. #2 If you cut your hair short you really have to maintain the cut...like every 6-8 weeks. Otherwise the length destroys the style. #3 You HAVE to roundbrush to get this look. But once you have it done (which may take about 20 minutes) it will stay like that for days. It is also great because with this cut you don't have to do much to the back. Just round brush the top layer and stick some product in it. #4 You would look way cute with this cut! I have the perfect person here in UT to cut it if you're up for it. Let me know.

It's hard for me to say becuase I'm having a hard time visualizing a "blonde" Katie. I agree with Gina, the cut is ESSENTIAL! I think you would look great either way :)
Do it, but don't change your color. I love you blond...and really you would look great with any decision you make.
I want to chop my hair too. But I am seriously so scared to do it. I have to wait until I get skinny. I don't need anything extra drawing attention to my face right now. You on the other hand. . . .should totally do it. And stay blonde. I love your hair. Ahhh, but I love your long hair too. It is so shinny and silky. Good luck. If you do it and hate it. . . it will grow back. IF you do it and love it. . . you ill be so glad you did it! :)
I vote GO FOR IT just because it's fun to try something new. But I really like your hair as it is and Tiffany makes a good point about the ponytail.
I like your hair short, so I vote yes. P.S. I totally copied Katie's hair a couple years ago, and it's great, minus the ponie thing. But because there isn't a lot of hair, it really doesn't take long to do.
P.P.S. I am SO not a Utah mom. Oh well. :)

Oh man Elise, I think you would look adorable with short hair and it would be great for summer. But I am so jealous of your long hair!! (You know...cause mine does'nt grow!) I'm torn!
I say cut it! You would look great and it would be cooler for the summer heat!
I might be late, but I also say go for it. I actually had this haircut for a lot of my college years and I didn't really miss my pony tails, because my hair was usually done since i had to round brush it. Like Jana said- if you hate it, it will grow out, but if you love it, how great will that be!
I vote cut it! I love my hair short and I am getting tired of growing it out. I think it would be adorable on you. The great thing about hair is this, if you don't like it, it will grow out!
